In the spirit of the greatest movie of all time, Stepbrothers, Junior Dos Santos and his opponent for Saturday night, Tai Tuivasa hammed it up in Australia. Before banging it out this Saturday in Adelaide, both JDS and Tuivasa hammed it up and embraced Australian culture. “This is a lovely sport, MMA. One day you … Read moreBefore their fight, Tai Tuivasa and JDS share a ‘Stepbrothers’ moment.
Tai Bam Bam Tuivasa is set to face former UFC heavyweight champion, Junior Dos Santos, in December. The war of words has begun between the two, but Tuivasa has stepped his game way up already. JDS is very soft spoken and polite, however, Tuivasa is Australian. Tuivasa’s vernacular alone is enough to put JDS on his ass.
He has been going at JDS via social media and he is pulling no punches. None. JDS wasn’t impressed with Tuivasa repping ‘Street Fighting’ as a discipline and Tuivasa showed him exactly how much he cares about Junior’s opinion.
It’s probably for the best that you never call an Australian a coward. Apparently, they take offense to it and go straight for your jugular.
There was a barroom brawl posted on YouTube and it was titled ‘Cigano’. Junior Dos Santos was falsely accused as a man captured on video assaulting patrons at a nightclub. I can see the confusion, as this guy sleeps dudes over and over. However, if it was really JDS, the people wouldn’t be knocked out, they’d be dead.
First reported by TMZ, the guy in the video gets bumped into and totally loses his shit. He punches anything that resembles a man wearing a ‘he-purse’.
Junior was on vacation with his family at the time and there are photos on his Instagram of him enjoying that family time. A representative of JDS posted to her Twitter that it wasn’t him and they filed a complaint with YouTube.
Since that time, the video appears to have been taken down off of YouTube.
A @youtube video showing a violent club fight incorrectly identifies @junior_cigano as the aggressor. It is defamatory & an infringement of Junior’s trademark rights. Formal complaints have been filed. Junior has never & would never strike anyone outside of a professional bout.
Just as quickly as Junior dos Santos was cleared for his false positive drug test, he’s booked for a fight. The former UFC heavyweight champion will face Bellator and WSOF veteran, Blagoy Ivanov. The two will square off in Boise, Idaho in the Fight Night main event. This will be no pushover fight for JDS, … Read moreJunior dos Santos vs Blagoy Ivanov headlines UFC Fight Night Boise

Quietly, UFC 211 has snuck up on us. The UFC released this video of the top eight finishes from fighters on the UFC 211 card. After watching, you realize that there are five current or former UFC champions on this card. UFC 211 is absolutely stacked.
Frankie Edgar, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, Stipe Miocic, Junior Dos Santos, and Eddie Alvarez are all wearing, or have worn UFC gold. Usually, we don’t see that much championship talent on one card.
Enjoy the top eight finishes from some of the top competitors that the UFC has to offer. While each knockout and submission are impressive, I disagree with the number one spot. If Yair Rodriguez’ shin to Andre Fili’s chin isn’t the most impressive stoppage, I don’t know what is.
The episode opens with Junior Dos Santos spending some time at the beach at night. He says he comes there to think and focus. He goes for a swim and says, “These little moments that you have by yourself, are the best moments.” He then is seen with his family at a local Coconut Creek restaurant.
We then are transported from the beauty of Florida to the less beautiful Cleveland as Stipe is shown working out in his gym. We then visit Stipe’s home, where he and his wife are answering fan mail. Stipe is about as funny a guy as there is in the UFC, and he should most definitely have his own show. He’s shown traveling getting ready to depart for some media obligations.
Next, we’re taken to Brazil and the home of Jessica Andrade. She’s packing up her stuff, getting ready to travel to Dallas. Her wife and she are laughing about bringing jackets, everyone seems really relaxed.
We head to Florida again, to catch up with Joanna as she is leaving town as well. She’s headed to Hartford, CT to do some media at ESPN. She poses with an officer for a picture and is on her way. Joanna and Stipe get in a car and are driven to ESPN headquarters. They say ladies first, and Stipe goes first and gets made fun of for it. Stipe practices his ultra smooth radio voice and makes everyone laugh.
The last scene, a lady from ESPN comes up and asks if she can touch Stipe’s belt and he says, “Of course.” As she leans in to touch the top of it, he says, “No, not there!” and she panics before he tells her he’s just kidding. Classic Stipe, never change, please.
