“I ain’t afraid to wrestle with no man” – Kevin Lee on Khabib

UFC lightweights are out there and are legitimately afraid of Khabib Nurmagomedov. Why shouldn’t they be? The dude is terrifying. However, it’s mainly the wrestling of Khabib that strikes fear in the hearts of the division. UFC lightweight, Kevin Lee, says that Khabib has nothing that he hasn’t seen before and he sees holes in Khabib’s game.

However, everyone says that about Khabib until they are in the cage with him getting mauled like a bear on a bunny. Lee needs to not be thinking too far ahead, as he’s facing Al Iaquinta this weekend. Al already beat Lee in 2014 so Lee has an uphill battle from the get-go. The last thing he should be talking about is what’s next.

Tony Ferguson launches grenades at Khabib again. ‘I’m the champ, chump’

You don’t really hear someone called a ‘chump’ too often anymore unless you are watching old Rocky movies. Apparently, you also hear it when Tony Ferguson sends out seething tweets in the direction of Khabib Nurmagomedov. Ferg is campaigning for the fight again and going on social media to do so. Tony seemingly does not … Read moreTony Ferguson launches grenades at Khabib again. ‘I’m the champ, chump’

Khabib messing with his boy, and arguably GOAT boxer, Roy Jones Jr

Pound for pound and when a boxer is at their prime, it’s hard to argue against Roy Jones Jr not being the GOAT. The guy was magic in the ring and while many fighters have records much better than his, RJJ was one of the most aesthetically pleasing boxers that we’ve ever seen. At the … Read moreKhabib messing with his boy, and arguably GOAT boxer, Roy Jones Jr

Floyd says he’ll only box Khabib. He knows death is waiting for him in MMA

Floyd Mayweather likes to talk a lot. In fact, he straight up doesn’t stop talking about himself. He talks so much that he begins to believe the garbage that comes out of his mouth. Floyd will never take a risk to tarnish his legacy and especially not risk losing a single penny. So, in order to avoid death, he is refusing to come to MMA and fight Khabib Nurmagomedov. Instead, Floyd needs to come to him.

Floyd did the mother of all dicktucks when he was set to take on Tenshin Nasukawa, found out the kicking prowess of Nasukawa, and then suddenly wanted nothing to do with him. It’s safe to say that Floyd will never step foot in an MMA cage and especially not against someone the likes of Khabib.

Khabib channelling his inner Justin Wren and building wells in Nigeria

We all know that Justin Wren is a humanitarian first and a fighter second. His help building wells to provide fresh water for communities in African is very well documented. Now, it looks as if Khabib Nurmagomedov is channelling his inner Wren and joining the cause. Former UFC light heavyweight champ, Rashad Evans, is seeing … Read moreKhabib channelling his inner Justin Wren and building wells in Nigeria

Khabib’s manager says he’s a global superstar, should earn $50-$100 mil

I can’t say that I disagree with Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, when he states that Khabib is a global superstar. The proof is in the pudding and Khabib certainly has a lot of proof. After his fight with Conor McGregor, Khabib has gone on a world tour of epic proportions.

While McGregor licked the wounds of his loss, he was immediately out hustling his brand of whiskey. Meanwhile, Khabib has been travelling the globe and meeting world leaders. Honestly, it’s insane.

So, when Abdelaziz says that Khabib is a global superstar, he’s not kidding. Is Khabib worth $50-$100 million per fight? Possibly. However, at this moment, I think it’s more Conor and Khabib together that make a $50 million payday.

Dana White says if Floyd wants Khabib, he needs to mosey over to MMA

If Floyd Mayweather wants a crack at Khabib Nurmagomedov, he’s going to have to mosey on down to the UFC. Dana White is done bringing his MMA fighters over to boxing and watching them get exposed there. If Floyd wants some, he can get some in the Octagon.

“If Mayweather wants to fight, come fight in the UFC. We’re not boxing again. We did that once; That’s over. You want to fight, you come fight; A real fight.”

Granted, it was Khabib who called out Floyd and it is debatable if it was in jest. We do know that Dana White is only letting this all go down if a cage and 4 oz gloves are involved.

Very smart choice by the boss.

Khabib and Conor in a much happier setting. UFC 229 dance off!

Straight from the files of “WTF did I just watch?” comes a Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov parody. The two have a nice little dance off in public and look to be in a much happier setting than they were the last time we saw them.

I’m not going to lie… Fake Khabib looks a LOT like real Khabib. I wish that Conor was an actual person, but I don’t get things I want at middle-age anymore. So we are left with this bananas video of the two top lightweights battling it out to see who the lord of the dance is.

It’s totally Khabib.

Dana White: “I think Tony Ferguson deserves the next shot”

Just because Dana White thinks somebody deserves something, it doesn’t necessarily mean they will get it. He did come out today and say, “I think Tony Ferguson deserves the next shot”. As a fight fan, I tend to agree. As we know, in MMA, deserving a shot is only tangible if it makes sense, financially.

Dana brought up a good point about how neither Conor McGregor nor Tony Ferguson ever lost their lightweight titles. However, Conor got his chance and failed to get it done. Dana thinks it’s only fair that Ferguson gets the next crack at the strap.

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson were supposed to fight four times prior, but happenstance and injuries foiled their plan. After the last fight cancellation between the two, White seemed to be done trying to make that fight happen. He has since come around and it looks like Tony will get a fifth crack at Khabib and a second chance at gold.

Please, no one say hello to Tony until after the fight. No more freak accidents!

Floyd says after he beats up Khabib, McGregor is next on his hit list

Floyd Mayweather is compiling a hit list and it’s filled with the UFC’s best lightweights. Floyd says he will fight Khabib in 2019 and after he’s done, Conor McGregor can get that work again. Life after 40 has Floyd wanting to beat up MMA stars for a GRIP of cash.

Who can really blame Floyd? It’s an easy payday for him and he loves to get paid big money. As long as people are out there like Brendan Schaub, who can dupe fans into believing the guy with no chance can not only win but dominate, this crossover stuff will continue being a thing.

I have no doubt in my mind that Floyd will be fighting Khabib and Conor. Tony Ferguson may be next.

Damnit. Floyd vs Khabib is totally going to happen, isn’t it?

I wish it wouldn’t, but after Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather, I actually believe that Khabib Nurmagomedov vs Floyd will possibly happen. It doesn’t matter what I think, though. It does, however, matter what Floyd thinks and he’s sounding as cock-sure as ever that he vs Khabib is happening.

“Oh, we fighting. I’m my own boss. I can’t say what’s going on, on Khabib’s end. On my end, we can make it happen.”

Floyd insists that once again, he’s the A-side, so the fight would take place in the boxing ring. Khabib has maintained that he knocked McGregor down, which is something that Floyd did not do.

This fight is going to take place, for sure. I have no doubt about it. Here we feakin go again.

Dana White on Khabib, “We’re good. We worked it out”.

According to the bossman, Dana White, everything has been worked out between Khabib Nurmagomedov and the UFC. Dana claims that Khabib is happy with him and the UFC. However, the Nevada State Athletic Commission is still on the Khabib case and working things out with the UFC and The Eagle.

Dana did have on his tapdancing shoes when he was asked questions about Zubaira Tukhugov. Tukhugov was the guy who hopped the cage at UFC 229 and socked Conor McGregor in the head. Immediately after, Dana said that Zuba would be cut and never fight in the UFC again. Khabib issued a warning to White that he’d quit if Zuba was cut.

Dana wouldn’t address the Zuba situation, but it’s been reported by Ariel Helwani that he has been replaced by Michael Johnson in his scheduled fight with Artem Lobov. UFC.com does not show this on their site, though.

Someone has some ‘splaining to do, but at least Khabib is good with the UFC.

Dana White channels his inner Khabib with claim of ‘Number 1 b*****t’

‘Number one bullshit’ has become the calling card of Khabib Nurmagomedov. Everyone steals and uses it as their own, present company included. Now, the UFC boss, Dana White, is partaking in the festivities. A wild claim popped up on the internet that Khabib turned down a big money fight with Conor McGregor, will fight Tony … Read moreDana White channels his inner Khabib with claim of ‘Number 1 b*****t’

50 Cent offers Khabib 2 mil to come to Bellator. 50 mil for Floyd, maybe

Khabib Nurmagomedov threatened the UFC that is his teammate was cut from the roster, he’d go with him. Rapper, 50 Cent, chimed in and offered Khabib 2 million dollars to jump ship and come to Bellator. Khabib’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, said no way, but for 50 million; Where’s Floyd Mayweather at?

I could lie to you and say what I said before with Conor McGregor and Floyd; That it’s never going to happen. However, in this day and age, anything is possible for the right price.

It was only a few hours ago that Khabib said he would fight Mayweather and already the story is taking on a life of its own. You can bet that Khabib’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, is going to milk this thing as long and hard as he can.
