King Mo is a savage. Wants ‘Bitchass Ho’, Matt Mitrione

king-savage-bitchass-matt-mitrione

There goes King Mo again. The dude has absolutely no filter whatsoever. So when it comes to Matt Mitrione, Mo wants a piece of his bitchass. Apparently, Mitrione was offended that Mo said that Matt’s fight with Roy Nelson should have gone another round. Nelson is a teammate of Mo’s, so Mo was certainly entitled to his opinion.

In response, Mitrione has been talking a bunch of shit about Mo and Mo put it down at the Bellator press conference.

“I want Matt Mitrione’s bitchass. That’s who I want. He’s already booked, but hopefully, Y’all will make it happen because I don’t like his bitch ass! Let that be known. Y’all can tweet that he’s a ho.”

Bellator 199 Weigh-ins are live at 5 PM PST

This afternoon the fighters will be hitting the scale to make their bouts official at the Bellator 199 Weigh-ins. You can see the proceedings go down at 5 PM PST here at MikeSwick.com. In the main event, Ryan Bader will meet King Mo Lawal as part of the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix. The winner will move on to fight Matt Mitrione.

Also on the card, making his Bellator debut Jon Fitch will be taking on Paul Daley in what should be a very entertaining fight between two experienced veterans of the game.

Aaron Pico and Carrington Banks are both young up and coming fighters that Bellator has on the card as well. Pico is facing veteran Lee Morrison while Banks is facing Adam Piccolotti. It should be a very entertaining fight card.

You can check out the Bellator 199 Card right here.

Sitting down with King Mo before his fight with Ryan Bader

sitting-king-fight-bader

You know that it is getting close to fight time when King Mo is sitting around and NOT talking about his opponent. This means, his pro wrestling persona comes out and we get to see Mo shine. Mo has never been about giving the traditional interviews and talking about what he is going to do in the cage. He certainly doesn’t want to discuss what he thinks his opponent will do either.

No, when the cameras are on, Muhammed Lawal becomes King Mo. In fact, a friend of mine from ATT told me that when Bellator came to the gym to get an interview with Mo, all he did was cut wrestling promos and refused to discuss Bader. What a legend.

King Mo and Ryan Bader will square off this Saturday night for the final fight in the Bellator heavyweight tournament opening round.

Local wrestling featuring ATT, King Mo, and TUF 6 Alum, Blake Bowman

local-wrestling-att-king-bowman

You don’t hear about it as much as you should, but the guys at ATT have been doing local in-house wrestling for years. It actually started as a gym Halloween party and has involved into a full-blown indy circuit.

King Mo is a huge pro wrestling fan and appears on Impact Wrestling for time to time. You may remember Blake Bowman as a contestant on TUF 6. Since that time, Mo has quietly been doing underground wrestling appearances and Blake has been spreading his wrestling wings as a pro wrestling manager / pot-stirrer / mouthpiece.

During their show this weekend and repping Team ATT, both Blake and King Mo went full heel with some of the oldest ‘bad guy’ tricks in the book. They seem to be really good at being bad, as the gym chanted ‘ATT sucks’ by the end of the video.

They wanted Rampage to square off against King Mo on the Skydeck in Chicago...

This Skydeck scene in Chicago was eerily similar to when Rampage played B.A. Baracus in the A-Team.  B.A. had a thing about heights and apparently so does the guy who played him. I’m with Rampage on this one. There is no way you are getting me on that Skydeck either.
