Now, Mark Hunt takes aim at The Axe Murderer, Wanderlei Silva

mark-hunt-aim-axe-murderer-wanderlei-silva

Damn, Mark Hunt is on a roll. yesterday he had a field day with Fabricio Werdum and today, he brought Wanderlei Silva into the mix. He posted the message to The Axe Murderer on his Instagram and it was similar to what he said to Werdum yesterday.

There is no word on what prompted this most recent tongue-lashing aside from Wanderlei being friends with Werdum. regardless, Hunt gave Wand the business.

He must be referencing Werdum when he says,

“You have no job. Enjoy the Favelas, bitch.”

Wanderlei is headlining Bellator in two weeks, for his fourth fight against Rampage Jackson. So, Hunt’s ire seems a bit misdirected. That is unless there is some underlying beef that has been boiling between the two.

Whatever the case is, Mark Hunt is on a rampage right now!

UFC 221 open workouts. Yoel Salsa dancing and Luke riding a camel

open-workouts-yoel-salsa-dancing-luke-camel

Leave it to playboy Luke Rockhold to show up to the UFC 221 open workouts riding a camel. I know it may seem odd, but it really is SO Luke Rockhold. He surfs and skates, but apparently when he rides a camel, THAT is when he wears a helmet.

As for Yoel Romero, he spent his open workouts Salsa dancing with the ladies. He felt that for some people, the UFC coming to town was a party. So, he wanted to treat it like a party.

As for Curtis Blaydes and Mark Hunt, both just got down to business. This was Blaydes’ first ever open workout, so it took a minute to get used to everyone watching him hit mitts. Mark Hunt just looked pumped because he’s in Perth and he gets to punch someone in the face.

UFC 221 pre-fight presser HL’s. Luke, Yoel, Blaydes, and Mark Hunt.

UFC 221 is set for this Saturday evening. The main and co-main event combatants sat down for one last presser before they do battle on February 10. Luke Rockhold, Yoel Romero, Curtis Blaydes, and Mark Hunt were all in attendance to share their final thoughts to the media.

As usual, Luke Rockhold showed no shortage of confidence. He felt that wherever the fight went, he would get the better of Romero. Romero gave his usual retort, which consists of life situations and training hard.

Then we have the great Mark Hunt. “Mark. How will the fight go?”

“I love Australia. I’ve been here before, but that was with my Sheila. Now I’m with my wife and kids. Some stores have changed, but it’s still cool. Oh. PS, I’m fighting Curtis Blaydes on Saturday.”

In other words, Hunt is just there for the buffet and on Saturday he’ll get in a fight. His opponent, Curtis Blaydes, says he’s ready for whatever Hunt brings. Then, the guys all square off and do the staredown thing.

The card will come to you live on Saturday, February 10 via PPV, from Perth, Australia.

Dana on Hunt: “Sometimes you gotta protect these guys from themselves”

dana-hunt-sometimes-gotta-protect-guys

“Sometimes you gotta protect these guys from themselves”. These are the words from Dana White in regards to pulling Mark Hunt from UFC: Sydney. Hunt went off on Dana White via his Instagram the other day after he learned that Dana had yanked him from the card.

In one of his posts, The Super Samoan said,

“I’m disappointed that I have been withdrawn from the fight. I have passed all medicals two days ago, and spent 100,000 on camp. The truth is, the legal case I have filed has caused me to be withdrawn. The interview (With ‘Players Voice’) has been taken out of context and I want to reassure all my fans, I slur my words only when I have a drink. I’m fit and healthy and would have understood if the UFC requested a medical to ensure my safety. However, this is total bullshit. F**k you Dana. You’ve always hated me, you dog.”

In this video with TMZ, Dana assures us that him hating Hunt isn’t the case at all.

“I don’t Hate Mark Hunt at all. I’ve never hated Mark Hunt. He knows that. I was actually really good to Mark Hunt.”

Real Quick w/ Mike Swick EP #3 – Mark Hunt In Studio! – Phuket Thailand

REAL QUICK W/ MIKE SWICK EP #3 – MARK HUNT IN STUDIO! – PHUKET THAILAND

Episode 3 of ‘The Real Quick with Mike Swick Podcast’ has arrived. In this episode, ‘The Super Samoan’ Mark Hunt is live and in the studio. Mike Swick’s co-host Marc is with him as always. As usual, when Marc tells a story, it is rated *NSFW*.

Let’s just say that one of Marc’s stories this episode involves:

  • Getting arrested in Thailand
  • Making friends in jail
  • Kentucky Fried Chicken

While Marc’s story is borderline illegal, the real entertainment comes when Swick breaks out a pic of the “Mark Hunt doll”. If you follow Mark Hunt on social media, you know which one I am speaking about. If not, get ready, because your mind is about to be blown.
