Miss the Matt Brown elbow of doom? We’ve got you covered.

Matt Brown

Matt Brown delivers the most fearsome elbow I’ve ever seen.

Sometimes you’re the hammer and sometimes you get elbowed so hard you go to sleep right there in the middle of a cage. Matt Brown entered the Octagon with retirement on his mind. I’m guessing he might change his mind now. He and Diego Sanchez on paper is an explosive scrap, it was in reality as well.

Matt Brown caught Diego’s leg after a kick attempt and backed him into the corner. What happened next? Matt Brown wound up and threw an elbow shot from the heavens, that separated Diego Sanchez from reality and sent the crowd into a fury. At least the live crowd. The home audience was treated to a technical error that cut away from the event to an empty press room. Someone got fired for that.

At any rate, Matt Brown had his family at the event and his two sons joined him in the Octagon post-fight. I know he might have an urge to continue the career, but how can you go out with anything better than that? Thanks for the memories Matt Brown!

Snoop Dogg shows Conor McGregor complete disrespect. *explicit content*

Snoop Dogg

Snoop Dogg has been doing color to Urijah’s PBP on the Dana White Contender Series.

People should be held to similar rules of conduct as it pertains to employment and representing a company. Snoop Dogg has been doing his Snoopcast with Urijah Faber during Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender’s Series and for the most part, I think some people find it entertaining. I know a lot of people, however, do not find it at all enjoyable.

That said, it is up to the UFC to make decisions on who they employ and in what capacity. However, when a representative of their company shows utter disrespect for one of their champions and does so in such an inflammatory manner, it can’t go unpunished. Snoop had an Instagram post after the Mayweather/McGregor fight that has gone viral for all the wrong reasons.  He can be heard saying to the camera, among other things.

“F*ck that motherf*cking punk ass McGregor bitch. F*ck him! That’s what happens when you show up to a gangfight with a butterknife you bitch ass motherf*cker.”

To show Conor, a two-time UFC champion that level of disrespect when you yourself work for the UFC is remarkable. UFC Welterweight Matt Brown posted the video via Instagram, asking people to start the hashtag #fireSnoop.

I hope this idiot gets fired let’s get #firesnoop trending he don’t need to be involved in our sport at all

It is no secret that Donald Cerrone likes to fight. A lot. He has 23 fights in just the UFC alone. His 23rd fight was barely over and Cerrone, while still in the Octagon, requests fight number 24. Cerrone said he was ready to jump right back into the mix next month, at UFC Fight Night: Denver. They say that cowboys are a tough breed and Donald Cerrone lives up to every bit of his ‘Cowboy’ moniker. He doesn’t don a cowboy hat, just because he thinks it brings out the color in his eyes.
