Mauro Ranallo at it again. Slaying the mic while calling NXT match

mauro-ranallo-slaying-mic-calling-nxt-match

You know how it is when Mauro Ranallo gets on the microphone… The dude is just slaying quotes and one liners every second. That’s just what he does. So, when he was announcing for NXT, there were no surprises when he dropped gems during the entire time he was being recorded.

Tom Morello and Rage Against the Machine references are just next level stuff. Ranallo lets it roll right off of his tongue like a seasoned linguist. Every time, too.

So, once again, enjoy watching the Bi-Polar Rock-n-Roller getting down on the mic and showing him doing what he does best; Spitting verbal pornography in your earhole and getting you amped for what he’s seeing.

Mauro Ranallo gives emotional speech after his documentary screening

Maruo Ranallo

Mauro Ranallo’s doc Bi-Polar Rock-n-Rolla is an amazing look into the life of mental illness.

Mauro Ranallo is one of the most famous commentators in combat sports and wrestling. He does boxing events, MMA events, Pro Wrestling events and does so with a style and energy all his own. If you want to see him at his amazing best, watch his call of NXT Takeover New Orleans. You can see some of it right here.

However, the Showtime documentary on his life with Bi-polar disorder and mental illness is a different thing altogether.  It shines the light, uncomfortably at times on how one struggles with the disorder. The movie was recently screened in Canada, Ranallo’s home, and he stood up after it finished and gave an emotional speech. We’ve got it here for you.

It’s important to note the underlying message here. People with mental illness issues need our help. If you can be a source for someone to simply talk so, you are doing a lot. If you know someone who is struggling or seems depressed, talk to them about it. If there is someone in your family, or a friend who suffers from Bi-Polar disorder do a few things to help them.

What can you do?

  • Learn about the disorder.
  • Encourage them to get help.
  • Be a source of communication and support.
  • Show patience and understanding.

Showtime has released the first trailer for their documentary on uber-announcer, Mauro Ranallo. Titled, ‘Bipolar Rock N Roller’, the film will delve into the career of Mauro Ranallo and the demons that he has been battling along the way.

At the moment, Ranallo is enjoying the height of his career. He is an announcer for multiple organizations and has a gig, seemingly every weekend. This film will go into depth about his fight with manic depression that has been plaguing him throughout his entire career.

Showtime has released a launch promo for the documentary, but this is their first trailer. It looks like a heavy film with an inside look at never-before-seen footage of Ranallo behind the scenes.

Mauro Ranallo doc, BIPOLAR ROCK ‘N ROLLER, to air on Showtime

Mauro Ranallo’s battle with bipolar disorder has been very well documented by the longtime combat sports announcer. He has been very vocal in his efforts to make people aware of this disease that plagues close to six million Americans a year.

Now, Showtime has stepped up and will air a documentary that will focus on the career of Mauro behind the scenes. It will invite the viewer into how difficult the disease can be to deal with and how it affected him, personally, as an announcer.

Showtime describes the documentary on their YouTube.

“The film explores Ranallo’s career, including his work on the two biggest pay-per-view events in television history, and his relentless pursuit of a childhood dream despite seemingly insurmountable odds. Through this deeply personal portrait, Ranallo hopes that the film might inspire others to persevere in pursuing their dreams despite the challenges of a mental health condition.”

It will air on SHOWTIME during Mental Health Awareness Month on May 25.

Mauro Ranallo’s impassioned announcing caught on video

If you are an MMA fan, by now you have heard Mauro Ranallo calling both boxing and MMA. The WWE have retained his services and he’s nothing short of spectacular for them. Ranallo is always impassioned when he is announcing, but when it comes to pro wrestling, he’s living the gimmick.

Clearly, this is a man who loves what he does. When he is a three-man-booth in MMA or boxing he isn’t allowed the same freedom as he is when calling WWE. In fact, the more passionate and over the top he is in the WWE the better.

After the WWE released this video, fans have been very vocal in support of Ranallo doing what he does best. Sometimes he gets so excited, you can’t help but get excited also.

At one point of this NXT broadcast, Ranallo had such an effect on the crowd that they started chanting ‘Mama Mia’. Mind you, they couldn’t even hear what he was saying. They just saw his body language.

Mauro Ranallo and Brendan Schaub talk Floyd vs Conor on Sho Sports

Sho Sports puts Brendan Schaub and Mauro Ranallo on a rooftop to discuss Floyd vs Conor

Sho Sports hired Brendan Schaub and Maro Ranallo to sit down and give their opinions on Floyd Mayweather versus Conor McGregor. What we have here is a twenty-something minute segment of Mauro being pro-Mayweather and Schaub being pro-McGregor. Reeeeeally pro-McGregor.

Of course, this is a scripted segment and Schaub could just be playing devil’s advocate. However, through the hair gel, manicured nails, fake tan, and sculpted facial hair; Schaub seems to really believe what he is saying.

At times, the debate gets passionate with Mauro using common sense and Schaub disagreeing. I highly recommend watching the video for the valid points that are brought up. Or… simply watch to see how Schaub is absolutely in love with McGregor.

Real Quick, Retro Pick: Mirko Cro Cop scares the life out of Mauro Ranallo

Real Quick, Retro Pick: Mirko Cro Cop scares the life out of Mauro Ranallo

Apparently, it sucked to be the new guy in Pride. Such was the case for new Pride announcer, Mauro Ranallo. At his expense, Bas Rutten and Mirko Cro Cop decided to have some fun with him.

As you can tell from the video, there was nothing fun about the situation for Mauro. Ranallo, who looks as if he’s never so much as punched a heavy bag in his entire life, gets roasted by Cro Cop. Not only was Mirko’s size intimidating, but at that time he was one of the top 3 heavyweights in the world. On top of that, he had a stoic Croatian demeanor. All of these variables contributed to the perfect shit storm to ruin Ranallo’s day.

While the video is hilarious, you still feel kind of bad for Ranallo. Bas was just playing a prank on him and Cro Cop executed it perfectly. In fact, it was too perfect.
