In the main event, Ryan Bader will meet King Mo Lawal as part of the Bellator Heavyweight Grand Prix. The winner will move on to fight Matt Mitrione.

Also on the card, making his Bellator debut Jon Fitch will be taking on Paul Daley in what should be a very entertaining fight between two experienced veterans of the game.

Aaron Pico and Carrington Banks are both young up and coming fighters that Bellator has on the card as well. Pico is facing veteran Lee Morrison while Banks is facing Adam Piccolotti. It should be a very entertaining fight card.

Sitting down with King Mo before his fight with Ryan Bader

sitting-king-fight-bader

You know that it is getting close to fight time when King Mo is sitting around and NOT talking about his opponent. This means, his pro wrestling persona comes out and we get to see Mo shine. Mo has never been about giving the traditional interviews and talking about what he is going to do in the cage. He certainly doesn’t want to discuss what he thinks his opponent will do either.

No, when the cameras are on, Muhammed Lawal becomes King Mo. In fact, a friend of mine from ATT told me that when Bellator came to the gym to get an interview with Mo, all he did was cut wrestling promos and refused to discuss Bader. What a legend.

King Mo and Ryan Bader will square off this Saturday night for the final fight in the Bellator heavyweight tournament opening round.

Chael Sonnen keeps berating Ryan Bader. Bader keeps laughing at him.

sonnen-berating-bader-bader-keeps-laughing

Chael Sonnen will face the winner of King Mo vs Ryan Bader and has already begun berating Bader. Then again, Chael berates everyone, so why should Bader feel left out? It’s one thing to talk on a microphone at home and it’s quite the other to stand across the cage with someone. Bader continues to post things that Chael says or does to his social media and seems to really get a kick out of it.

You never know if Chael is just talking to talk, but let’s face it, Bader is the worst possible matchup for him. Bader is younger and two times the wrestler that Chael is. Also, Bader hits like a truck and Chael is very lacking in the power department.

So when Chael says, “I’ll stick a foot so far up Bader’s ass…”, you know Bader doesn’t even bat an eyelash.

First thing is first, though. Bader has King Mo standing in front of him as his next opponent in the Bellator Heavyweight Tournament.

Also, it should be noted that no one sticks anything up Bader’s ass, except Mrs Bader.

Ryan Bader half naked distraction, with a shake weight

bader-naked-distraction-shake-weight

Arizona State Basketball has something called ‘The Curtain of Distraction’. As we all know, Bellator light heavyweight champion, Ryan Bader, is an alum of Arizona State. So, no one should have been surprised when Bader was the guest ‘distraction’ for the evening during the ASU vs Arizona game.

Apparently, there were a lot more ‘skits’ that Bader did, but ESPN decided to run with this one. A player from Arizona steps up to the free throw line. As they are about to shoot their free throw, the curtain opens. Boom! Ryan Bader naked with two Pikachu and a shake weight.

Say what you will about Bader, but damn that guy loves being naked when helping his fellow man.
