The UFC released their Fight Motion video for all of the greatest hits from UFC 211 and once again, it doesn’t disappoint. These Fight Motion videos remind me of those Discovery Channel videos where they pop balloons full of water and film it with a super high-speed camera. The result is a frame where the water just sits in the air in the perfect shape of the balloon.
The Fight Motion vids are just as cool, but instead, are for fight fans. UFC 211 was arguably the best card of 2017 to date. Re-live Jedrzejczyk’s domination of Andrade or the bloody shootout between Poirier and Alvarez. It is fascinating to watch the body mechanics of elite martial artists in super slow motion.
Check out all the post fight interviews about 30 mins after UFC 211 ends.
Who won? Who lost? What where the gate, attendance and fight night bonuses? Fight out all of that and more during the UFC 211 Post-Fight Press Conference. The press conference typically starts about 30 minutes after the PPV comes to an end.
UFC 211 is the most anticipated fight card of the year, and the Post-Fight press conference will have all the fighters breaking down their performances. It’s not to be missed. You can see it below.

The fighters woke up and jumped on the scales. This morning, in Dallas the fighters competing at UFC 211 all filed in one at a time and stood on the scale for the UFC 211 Official Weigh-In. The episode opens with Junior Dos Santos spending some time at the beach at night. He says he comes there to think and focus. He goes for a swim and says, “These little moments that you have by yourself, are the best moments.” He then is seen with his family at a local Coconut Creek restaurant.
We then are transported from the beauty of Florida to the less beautiful Cleveland as Stipe is shown working out in his gym. We then visit Stipe’s home, where he and his wife are answering fan mail. Stipe is about as funny a guy as there is in the UFC, and he should most definitely have his own show. He’s shown traveling getting ready to depart for some media obligations.
Next, we’re taken to Brazil and the home of Jessica Andrade. She’s packing up her stuff, getting ready to travel to Dallas. Her wife and she are laughing about bringing jackets, everyone seems really relaxed.
We head to Florida again, to catch up with Joanna as she is leaving town as well. She’s headed to Hartford, CT to do some media at ESPN. She poses with an officer for a picture and is on her way. Joanna and Stipe get in a car and are driven to ESPN headquarters. They say ladies first, and Stipe goes first and gets made fun of for it. Stipe practices his ultra smooth radio voice and makes everyone laugh.
The last scene, a lady from ESPN comes up and asks if she can touch Stipe’s belt and he says, “Of course.” As she leans in to touch the top of it, he says, “No, not there!” and she panics before he tells her he’s just kidding. Classic Stipe, never change, please.
Time to take a look at the new Episode of UFC 211 Embedded. The more you see Stipe Miocic live his life, the more you understand he’s not like other people. The episode opens with Stipe shooting a pellet gun, and then a slingshot at some targets. He’s managed to put a hole in the wall but thoroughly enjoys himself. He definitely enjoys his life, and it’s great to see.
We visit American Top Team and watch Junior Dos Santos work out a bit. We also hear him sing a nice little version of “In the jungle.” They have the cage in the gym wrapped in fabric to nobody can see what they’re working on. Big secrets at ATT.
We see Jessica Andrade taking care of her house. We hear from her wife, about the balance in her life. Jessica and her wife attend a BJJ tournament where some of her teammates are competing. It’s a nice look into her life away from the 15 minutes we see at a time of her normally.
We are then taken to Joanna Jedrzejczyk’s home in Coconut Creek, FL. Joanna is getting an adjustment from a chiropractor and getting her body ready for competition. We then follow her to American Top Team where she gets a workout in, preparing to defend her title. They go to a noodle bar and eat dinner. The episode ends with Joanna saying the meal is on Dana White, and thanking him.

There’s something refreshingly friendly in how Stipe and JDS are handling things.
You can build up to a fight in any number of ways. Fighters can pretend to hate each other and manufacture canned sound bytes that come off insincere and lame. They can have a genuine dislike and explode with rage in the media, and talk trash about your opponent non-stop or…you can be like Stipe Miocic and Junior Dos Santos.
The two heavyweights will battle inside the Octagon in May at UFC 211, but they’re getting along and having some fun on the way to the cage. Both men were in Dallas for some media and decided to engage in both a BBQ eating contest and a little impromptu flex and pose contest.
Here’s the pose off. I’ll let you decide for yourself who won, but it’s nice to see two genuinely good people represent the sport in such a positive way. Good for them. Also, Junior Dos Santos won. Thanks to Ana Claudia Guedes for posting this via Instagram.
