Dana White feels nobody but himself cared about the post-UFC 229 fracas

Dana White is a sad panda. The UFC 229 post-event fracas happened and he felt like he was the only person on Earth who cared. Truth be told, he may have been. What happened, happened and everyone seemingly moved on. Not Dana White, however. Dana felt it was the UFC’s biggest night ever and it was totally ruined.

I know I may be in the minority here, but with so many eyes on this fight and the melee happening, people probably loved it. Jerry Springer made a career out of things like this.

“For me, personally… All the work I put that I put into this the last 20 years of my life. I don’t want to see it go down like that.

The digital buys on this fight were bigger than any sporting event ever in the history of digital. For me, it was just our biggest moment, the most people watching ever, and that’s just not who we are. It’s not even who Khabib is. He said many times after the fight that he went crazy after the fight and it happens sometimes. This is the fight business. But yeah, I was the most upset guy on the planet after that fight. Nobody else cared.”

The fact that no one was hurt and the melee was contained so quickly has made the fracas sort of swept under the rug.

Conor McGregor’s perspective of the entire UFC 229 fight with Khabib

Conor McGregor took to his Instagram and gave fans his personal perspective of what went on at UFC 229 in his fight with Khabib Nurmagomedov. Before you get all crazy and think this will be him bashing on Khabib and the post-fight melee, this isn’t that. Conor literally breaks down the fight and just focuses … Read moreConor McGregor’s perspective of the entire UFC 229 fight with Khabib

OMG. Master Ken points out all of the mistakes from UFC 229. Amazing.

No one is perfect and we all make mistakes. However, in the martial arts world, no one points out shortcomings more than good ol Master Ken. Master Ken wasn’t pleased with anything that he saw at UFC 229 in the main event that took place after Conor McGregor fought Khabib Nurmagomedov.

If you’ve watched Master Ken before he is very particular about re-stomping the groin. Wile Khabib went for the double groin stomp, Master Ken wasn’t impressed with his attempt at doing it on a standing opponent.

What he was even less impressed with was Conor McGregor’s ground game. Holy Hell, Master Ken really went in on the Notorious.

It’s another hilarious video from Master Ken. What else would you expect from the guy who taught Bruce Lee and Chuck Norris?

Wiz Khalifa dropping serious knowledge about the UFC 229 fracas

Sure, a lot of celebrities have said many smart things about the melee after the main event of UFC 229. However, Wiz Khalifa nails it right on the head when dropping knowledge of what happened. Once you take your emotional investment in out of it and look at it logically, it’s easy to make sense of it.

People like Wiz and our namesake, Mike Swick, aren’t solely putting the blame on the UFC. However, they are certain that the UFC needs to do a better job in a few aspects of promotion and security.

There are things that need to be taboo when it comes to promotion; Like family, religion, and politics. I think the fight itself is enough motivation for these guys to get pissed at each other. Bringing aspects that have caused entire countries to go to war should probably be frowned upon.

After the main event fracas of UFC 229, the fans went hard at each other

After the main event ended at UFC 229 the show kept on going. We all saw what happened between both Conor McGregor’s team and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s team. However, after cooler heads prevailed and order was restored in the arena, fights between fans broke out all over the outside with guys going hard at each other.

Luckily, the UFC knew that things would be wild and they had hired more police and security. The force didn’t seem to deter the chaos and fights popped up, with dudes getting laid out everywhere.

There will always be drunk idiots at fights and had the UFC not hired more muscle, it could have been a LOT worse. Still, it was bad enough.

UFC 229 recap. Conor, Khabib, and the ugly scene after their fight

It was an ugly scene last night at UFC 229 after the main event between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov. After putting on an incredible display of skill and ass kickery, Khabib and his crew had a lot more gas in their tanks. A melee ensued and everyone in the sport had an opinion and pointed fingers.

Our own Mike Swick had one of the better opinions on the situation. He and co-host Marc Bogutzki let them be known on the Real Quick Podcast. Check out the UFC 229 recap and see what the boys had to say about how everything went down.

UFC press conference between Conor and Khabib. However, not together.

The UFC tried to get a final press conference between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov but in the words of UFC president Dana White, “Shit happens”. The two were supposed to be on stage together but Conor was busy doing Conor things. Khabib gave a solid 15 minutes and then left. He said he wasn’t on McGregor time, rather, he was on a schedule.

A half hour later, McGregor finally showed up. The silver-tongued Irishman immediately got after it. He had the entire building hyped up and of course, promoted his whiskey. He doesn’t care what question is asked because he’s giving his own answers.

Both fighters are ready to go but I must say, right now, it looks like another rough weight cut for Khabib.

I would love to see how the oddsmakers have this fight right now.
