Tim Kennedy announces retirement from mixed martial arts

Tim Kennedy took to his facebook page a short time ago to announce his retirement from mixed martial arts. Kennedy, who finishes his career with a record of 18-6, holds victories over Melvin Manhoef, former UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler, and current UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping.

Kennedy is also a proud veteran, having served in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Among his awards with the Army, Sergeant Kennedy has been awarded the Army’s Bronze Star Medal with V device, which was awarded for valor under fire.
