UFC 209: Inside the Octagon – Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson

We are inching ever so close to UFC 209 and the crowning of a new UFC interim lightweight champion. Khabib Nurmagomedov faces Tony Ferguson in the co-main event for UFC gold.

Khabib and Tony had been going at it in interviews and on social media for quite a while before a bout agreement was finally signed, and the two continued the back and forth on the UFC 209 media conference call. So we expect plenty of fireworks in this one.

Nurmagomedov (24-0) is 8-0 in the UFC, while Ferguson (22-3) is riding a 9-fight win streak, dating back to 2013.

As we approach this dynamic co-main event, Inside the Octagon is back with its 2nd episode for UFC 209, this time taking a look at the 155lbs title contenders. Hosts John Gooden and Dan Hardy take a look at the stats that make this such an intriguing matchup (including Ferguson’s 6-inch reach advantage), as well as break down some of the best highlights from each fighter.
