UFC 211 to feature rematch between champion Stipe Miocic and Junior Dos Santos
The rumors have been swirling for quite a while now about this possible fight being made for UFC 211. The UFC has officially confirmed the fight, and the date. We’re going to see the rematch for the UFC heavyweight championship between Stipe Miocic and Junior Dos Santos.

The first time the two met was at UFC on FOX 13 where Junior Dos Santos won a unanimous decision. Since that time Stipe has gone on to win the world heavyweight championship. Junior Dos Santos was defeated by Alistair Overeem and then defeated Ben Rothwell. The two will again clash, this time in Dallas, TX and with the world title in the balance. The fight is scheduled for May 13th.
Stipe Miocic (16-2) has been on a tear, knocking our Fabricio Werdum with one punch to claim the championship at UFC 203. He has a well rounded skill-set and possesses very heavy hands. The Ohio native was the first to bring a title to Cleveland, before the Cavs managed to comeback from a 3-1 game deficit to the Golden State Warriors.
Junior Dos Santos (18-4) is a former world champion. Dos Santos is considered to be among the best boxers in the division. His standup is on point, and he will be looking to land early and often against Stipe. He holds victories over Roy Nelson, Stipe Miocic, Mark Hunt, Frank Mir, Ben Rothwell and Cain Velasquez.
As of now, that is the only fight the UFC has officially announced. When we can confirm other fights on this card, we absolutely will.
