UFC 222 sees three fights announced including Andrei Arlovski vs. Stefan Struve

UFC 222 takes place March 3rd in Las Vegas, NV.

Andrei Arlovski won his last fight, against Junior Albini snapping what was an unbelievable five-fight losing streak. He needed that victory badly and was able to earn the unanimous decision. That win has him in position to face Stefan Struve at UFC 222 in March. Struve is coming off of a loss to Alexander Volkov at Fight Night 115.

Andrei Arlovski (26-15) was once the UFC Heavyweight champion but he’s fallen on hard times in the past year or two. He still has punching power and can win any fight he has, but it seems the mileage is catching up with him and he finds himself in trouble more often than he used to.

Stefan Struve (28-9) is a seven-footer who has won 2 of 3 entering this clash with Arlovski. His problems in the past couple years have been physical as he’s been dealing with a heart condition and fainted backstage of UFC 175. canceling his fight with Matt Mitrione at the time.

Also announced for the card is the return of the Sugar Show, as Sean O’Malley will meet Andre Soukhamthath in a hotly contested fight at Bantamweight. O’Malley successfully debuted at the TUF 26 Finale against Terrion Ware. Andre enters the fight after defeating Luke Sanders at Fight Night 123.

The last fight announced currently will pit Middleweights CB Dollaway and Hector Lombard against each other in a compelling fight between two talented veterans.
