Could the UFC be turning the gears on TJ Dillashaw vs. Henry Cejudo

TJ Dillashaw was on the Joe Rogan Experience and hinted it might take place.

Well, I guess Demetrious Johnson’s being the best Flyweight ever and the longest running UFC champion ever doesn’t earn him an immediate rematch. In what was a very hotly contested clash, Henry Cejudo defeated Johnson to become the Flyweight champion via Split Decision. Many felt Johnson had won the fight. That said, it seems the UFC is interested in moving towards a super fight. This one between TJ Dillashaw and Henry Cejudo at 125 pounds.

TJ Dillashaw was on the wildly popular Joe Rogan Experience and shared as much, without saying for certain the fight is taking place. He was a guest on the show alongside Bang Ludwig and this to say about the potential fight.

“There’s been nothing serious. There’s been hints, and we did a media tour together, and they put us on camera together and had us talk sh*t to each other. They didn’t say that. Everything we do is real, but it’s like, ‘Oh, sh*t, this is what you guys want? If you think you can beat me then f*ck you, man. Let’s do this sh*t’”

It would certainly be an interesting fight, and if they fought at Flyweight, I’d make Cejudo the odds-on favorite to win.
