The UFC has announced that rising heavyweight Justin Ledet has been flagged by USADA for a potential anit-doping violation stemming from an out-of-competition sample collected on January 12, 2017.
Ledet is 8-0 and 2-0 in the UFC. Additionally, he held a 5-0 record as a professional boxer before making the jump to mixed martial arts.
We reported earlier that UFC middleweight Ricardo Abreu was flagged for the 2nd time for a potential anti-doping violation while already serving a two-year suspension.
As with all cases, USADA will conduct a full investigation on the matter and rule as they see fit. No substance was mentioned in the UFC’s statement regarding Ledet’s test.
We will have more details as they become available.
