With her USADA case looking good, Cyborg has her eyes on the title

Last night at UFC 208 we saw the crowning of the first ever UFC women’s featherweight champion. Germaine de Randamie defeated Holly Holm in a widely contested unanimous decision victory to earn the title. Cris Cyborg, the division’s most prominent figure, was on hand to see the historic moment.

With Dana White recently stating that Cyborg’s situation with USADA is looking pretty good, the current Invicta FC featherweight champion is looking to get back into the cage as soon as possible.

While it looks like Germaine might be on the sideline for a while pending the results of a hand injury, Cyborg took to twitter to seek out another title match.

Megan Anderson won the Invicta FC interim featherweight title at Invicta 21 with a win over Charmaine Tweet. And now Cyborg wants to once again sit atop the Invicta throne all by herself.

The outcome of the USADA investigation has not yet been announced so we don’t know for sure when Cyborg will be able fight again, but given comments by both her and Dana, it looks like it will be sooner rather than later.
