The good news is, Fabricio Werdum has no misconception about what he did. Almost all of the details about his fracas with Colby Covington are well documented. There are witnesses and video showing exactly what happened between the two. All Werdum has to do now is show up for his December scheduled court date. Honestly, it doesn’t sound too bad either.

Werdum seems to be taking the whole thing in stride. In fact, he almost sounds happy about the court date because it gives him a reason to go back to Australia. Werdum was very vocal all week before his fight about how beautiful he thought it was there. The court date is a blip on the radar, as he will probably pay a small fine, but get a nice vacation out of it for he and his family.
It should be noted that the fact that Covington is ACTUALLY pressing charges makes this entire scenario completely ridiculous. At least it is in Australia and Werdum can enjoy his time there before he deals with the misdemeanor assault.
