WME/IMG looking to host entire UFC roster this May

The new owners of the UFC, WME/IMG, will be holding an Athlete Retreat this coming May, and intend to invite the entire UFC roster of over 500 fighters to the new UFC campus in Las Vegas. This according to a report by Yahoo! Sport Kevin Iole.

WME/IMG represents some of the top talent in music, film, television, and other walks of celebrity, and many will attend the retreat to make presentations or make themselves available for questions and info.

The entertainment giant represents a number of UFC fighters, most notably Ronda Rousey, and just recently signed Michelle Waterson.

Fighters will also be shown the new UFC Performance Institute, which will be made available for fighters and their teams to use for free to work on the various aspects of fight camp, and post-fight recovery. Vice President of athlete development Forrest Griffin will serve as tour guide.

Additionally, this will be the first time that many fighters will have a chance to meet the new owners, and will have the opportunity to voice any concerns they may have.

No word yet on the specific dates in May for the retreat.
