Wonderboy signed, sealed, almost delivered for UFC 209

Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson made himself a household name after his thrilling match with UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley at UFC 205 this past November. The match ended in a draw and had fight fans clamoring for a rematch.

Since that time, Woodley has been adamant about wanting a big money fight, even going so far as to somewhat agreeing to a 180lbs catchweight bout with UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping.

Wonderboy, however, has no plans on waiting around for any of that to take shape first. The #1 contender took to twitter last night to share his signed contract for UFC 209:

Fighters have been taking to social media more and more these days. Tyron, never one to back down, replied. And the two had a lighthearted back and forth.

And that’s where the back and forth ended. But we could have watched the two exchange tweets all night like it was UFC 205 all over again.

We’ll keep our eye on things and update the story as it continues to unfold.
